open pokedex. stand on a pokemon. press a and you go to your pokemon screen with type and height. Than press r once.
go to the field and find a wild pokemon. It should be that pokemon. if you pressed wrong you're game will crash

So i've been trying this code for the past hour(on yuzu) and nothing I do seems to make a difference I go to the pokedex click on a pokemon press r exit out of the menu by pressing b 3 times walk into grass encounter and boom white screen

I still can't get the shiny pokemon code to work on my Switch. I've tried holding L, didn't work. I tried changing the code to map the button to ZL, still didn't work. Is there anyway to just toggle it on? The other codes I've tried work fine.

You need to also use the encounter on code

all wrong . the text name should be "D9E96FB92878E345" and then you add the cheat code to the file along with the name of the cheat above the code.

Just do as i said:
Goto mod folder of the game
Create a new folder called cheats
Create a new text file called "D9E96FB92878E345 "
Open the Text file and the cheat you want to use.

I already tried using the encounter on code and just having that turned on with the shiny code ends up just disabling encounters for some reason. I enabled male and female encounters with it to see if it would fix it but no it's still disabled after reloading my save. Edit: I decided to try the encounter off code and that makes the shiny code work. Edit #2: After reloading an earlier save and reenabling the same cheats the shiny code doesn't work once more.

i installed everything properly. i have the right contents folder and text file where its suppose to be. i remove the codes i didnt want and left like 4 of them.
