Yeah, it used to not be there if you used a shiny cheat.

Basically, I just wanted a shiny starter without cheating the rest of the game, and was wondering if this keeps my save clean so I can move it to my legit copy once the game comes out

I looked into that a bit, will it be easy to "fix" the pokemon if it does show up as illegal?

Yeah usually you just need to right the wrong in some way, generally rerolling PID (or whatever I forget the term) to a correct one or correcting encounter location etcetc On every other game pkhex shiny making is as easy as clicking the star, and it makes a legal one. (for reference)

edit to add: you probably are fine if it's just shiny. It should be legal. as long as you didn't catch a chimchar from an old rod or some such nonsense like that it's not very sophisticated checking in the past

You know, I was thinking, is not possible create a background service (programming some homebrew) that applies randomly some of the random codes? So you can turn it on/off from the Overlay Menu and voilá! you have a randomizer in real time.

This is not a request, is just an idea.
