I'll update as soon as I'm home from work!

I've updated Brilliant Diamond's codes to v1.1.2, but am waiting on the new encounter address for Shining Pearl before I can update it as well. The download has been updated, and as soon as I have the new address, I'll include v1.1.2 codes for Shining Pearl in it.

Shining Pearl's slower to have it's codes updated, so I apologize for the delay.

Thank you for this.
Trying to do an Eevee only run.. but no luck with the codes, Maybe someone can help?
Having an issue with the Encounter ON code. After activation in Brilliant Diamond V 1.1.2, It disables all encounters in the grass.
I am attempting to use Encounter ON and the Eevee code provided. Any tips?

Also playing the game in Japanese if that makes a difference..

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond / Pokemon Shining Pearl Encounter Codes For All 493 Pokemon!

SPECIAL THANK YOU TO @Falo FOR MAKING THE [Encounter (ON/OFF)] CODES!

It took me a while to make these for all 493 Pokemon in both games, so I hope you all enjoy them and if they do end up helping you, feel free to share them amongst yourselves or add them to any already pre-compiled cheat lists/databases on here.

No need to ask permission to share them here, but please give me credit if they are added to a list of useful cheats/resources for Pokemon Brilliant Diamond / Pokemon Shining Pearl.

I'll be updating the list for both games when new patches come out, so come back here after a new patch if you'd like the updated versions.

If there's any issues, please let me know! (Make sure you're using the correct codes for the correct game and you're on update v1.1.1/v1.1.2)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There's an issue with the [Encounter (OFF)] code for Pokemon Shining Pearl that causes a white screen when initiating a battle after turning the code on. Anyone who can fix this or has a better [Encounter (OFF)] code for Shining Pearl, please let me know as I'd appreciate it and I'd update the file with the fix immediately. AFAIK, you should still be able to use the [Encounter (ON)] code paired with the code of the Pokemon you want to encounter, catch the Pokemon, save, and then restart the game to keep the Pokemon you caught as well as return the encounters to normal.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Enjoy!

UPDATE - The Encounter Codes for Brilliant Diamond have been updated to v1.1.2, but I'm currently waiting on the new encounter address for Shining Pearl so I can update it as well. As soon as I have the address, Shining Pearl will be updated as well!

hi, thanks for the code but is there update for version 1.3?

Is it possible to make those for the Grand Underground overworld encounters? If yes then please do, thanks in advance.

Not so sure about that - the tendency for "graphics uber alles" tends to lead to very high power consumption

If you look at what's now portability graphics are catching up to console quality

The thing is that the IATA rules impose a pretty hard limit of 100Wh on battery sizes for lithium batteries - and it doesn't look like Li is going away soon

So if you want (say) 4 hours of runtime you need a maximum system-level power consumption of 25W

For reference, the PS5 is rated at 350W and the Xbox series X at 275W - and that's console only, without any display
