The guys saying it was easy was on the Burgh video :/

I know my hack isn't meant to be the difficult one but this is depressing e_e; It seems like most people gear towards difficult hacks and such. Plus there's something about people saying "it's really easy" that I don't like e.e

Listen Drayano... I don't see the point of being disapointed with the comments about the difficulty of the hack. Let me elaborate a little bit on this one: Is true that in my personal case, after play pokemon for about 13 years (yes... since the R/B release) is a common thing find the games a little "easy" in the same way is easy to drive a car after 13 years of being driving every day. If you wanna make that "superhard edition" I'll be the first one cheering you up. But if you don't, there's NO PROBLEM. As someone said, the only thing people must do is download the trainer editor and make the changes for themselves, is not a big deal like, for example, edit the movepools via Hex-editing. And if I remember correctly, the first question I made you in this thread was about how to make little changes to trainers to fit what I call "a challenge".

Talking about changes.... can you tell me what's wrong with bianca party? I would like to upgrade to v3.01, but I don't want to lose the changes I made with the trainer editor, so I will reinsert my trdata.narc and trpoke.narc on v3.01. And if possible, can you tell me what are the changes made to fix the Bianca's party?

Sorry for my I-hope-not-so terrible english. =D

I see :3 Thanks for the support. I might just make a quick little patch to toughen up the leaders/E4, but I won't reveal the rosters or anything, so it'll be pure punishment. Ohohohoho.

If you go to Bianca's Driftveil City fight, the one which she has Emboar on has two Musharna. The Level 26 Musharna should be a Level 41 Persian. That's all though.

Yeah it's really easy to modify the trainers yourself, it's actually the easiest part about hacking it (thanks to the tool KazoWAR made).

http://gbatemp.net/t277335-pokemon-b-w-trainer-editor
This thread has all the info you need to get started if you are not happy with the difficulty (you can even change some battles from Double to Single and such)
Download both archives and follow the video CLOSELY, you will edit trainers like a pro in no time.
Doing it yourself is the only way as it would be impossible for Drayano to make various versions to satisfy every type of player (I already find it amazing that he managed to work out the clean version, that is some serious work)

WTF?! Hell, nah, man! I personally fought against Burgh and I can assure you...He's hard as FUCKING day old bread. I've been trying to upload the vid, but youtube uploader been acting retarded!! ERRR! It's annoying!

EDIT: Oh, so you made a fix? I didn't know. Okay, I'll download it later, I'm still trying to upload the Burgh vid.

Drayano, I was editing the roosters of trainers and I'm stuck with one thing. What are those corrections made for the trainers that didn't match their pokemons with their dialogue?

And more important... the trainers that gives berries... can the problem with them be fixed using the trainer editor tool? If the answer is yes, wich number match those trainers and what I need to do in order to fix the problem?

You see... as I told you before, I'm gonna reinsert the trdata.narc and trpoke.narc on v3.01, so I can keep the changes I done like trainer's party, type of battles and more important... setting the unknown values at 255 for EVERY pokemon on gym battles (leaders, trainers and rematches), elite four (regular and rematch), rivals and other important battles.

Psychic... Low, I think it was, said something about Mummy after the battle, so I gave him a Yamask.

Unfortunately no, I had to insert some new pieces into the a/0/9/2 file to fix that. D=

When you say you insert new pieces into a/0/9/2 you mean via hex-editing? That mean I will need to do all the changes to a/0/9/2 and a/0/9/3 again right in order to keep the trainers as I want?

Nah, not hex editing. In fact it isn't really editing, per se.

I had to split apart the a/0/9/2 file into its individual pieces - the same thing as you have to do to use Kazo's trainer editor. However, I also did the same thing with an untouched a/0/9/2 file, and transplanted the unedited files of all of the Rangers/Breeders into the new one, then made it into a .narc again.

I unfortunately didn't save the numbers, but the easiest way is to visit the trainer class pages on Bulbapedia, put the names in Kazo's editor to get the numbers, then copy/paste the relevant numbers across.

P.S: I'm thinking I will make a special little patch for people who REALLY want to be challenged but I'll just edit the important fights and leave it at that. Probably will make it Full version only as well.

Well... it seems I'm gonna edit all the stuff again. I'll do it tomorrow.

I'm interested.... if you do the "special-little-patch-for-a-real-challenge", what will you change? I mean... as I told you, I'm gonna edit again the trainers from FULL v3.01 version. My changes are little. I change the AI to be the toughest, change the unknown values (AKA the IV's) of EVERY pokemon to 255 (to get 31 IV's), and change the type of battle to rotation (is my favorite kind of battle). I do it for every gym leader, trainer inside a gym, Cheren, Bianca, N, Ghetsis, Morimoto, Cynthia, elite 4, Alder and rematches (gym leaders and elite 4).
The point... if you decide to make such "challenge-patch" and are interested in the trainers narcs, I always keep a backup. I know is really easy for you to do such changes, but I think a little help is always usefull. And giving a hand is always better than just asking for things without moving a single finger.

My time is limited (reason: work), and my skills only reach basic editing, but if you wanna do that "challenge-patch", you can count with my hands.

I just finished DragonSpiral tower with the Plasma members, guess what? My pokemon are overleveled again! They're all level 65 now and I still have to go to Desert Resort

Brycen was kinda easy just because of having my Emboar and Machamp, simply OHKO everything with Flare Blitz / Strength / Close Combat.

Edit: Just reached 40 hours play time. o_o

You can make a "killer version" but don't remove the current full version. Am I the only one to find this game at a perfect difficulty ? I'm currently nuzlocking it and I have lots of losses but I still managed to get a full team (I'm in Driftveil City, by the way).
Seriously, the game is just fine.

I think the game is fine, of course, it depends on how you play. If for example you are always looking for Audinos, then your team levels up too much. I am just beating all the trainers I find, running away of Wild Pokémon, and my team is not overleveled.
