Had a hell of a night today and just thought to myself that tonight couldn't possibly get any better, then I go on here and see this. Tempting fate is always a bad idea, but tonight is an exception.

A tip - use Sunflora. I dare you. In case you didn't see it in the documents, it now has improved defenses, a whopping 135 special attack, and access to Earth Power and the unique Fiery Dance, as well as the Simple ability. Not to mention you can get it as early as Nacrene City.

It's still slow as hell, but Simple Growth and you will never look back!

Up to you, though I like seeing people rage at my own creations. If there's enough to rage at, that is.

bob: Yup, I boosted their base EXP a bit. It was more for just general since 27 was so low, but it does give you a bigger level boost now too

lol I just might use him. I was originally gonna use Pansage because the last time I played it felt like a crime to not use one of the monkeys after you gave it that incredible learnset, but Sunflora seems tempting.

I'm definitely using Tepig this time, since I always wanted it to be Fire/Ground

Staying away from Oshawott this time though since on V2 Oshawott basically soloed the entire late game. My other team members only joined in fights for EXP, they weren't needed once I got a Shell Smash in

Axew in Wellspring Cave is like zomg like hai Axew! It's like you knew I liked it.
I suppose I sort of did subconsciously, since I'm sure I remember you saying something in relation to Koopa's Axew in Route 3.

I was half considering putting Deino in Wellspring too, but seeing as it doesn't evolve until Level 50 I went ahead and just put it in Chargestone instead. Axew's Level 38 is... okay, I suppose.

Well, I suppose you could use Simisage, but Sunflora is now built to wreck stuff. There's also options like Delibird, who now gets Technician Frost Breath, allowing him to deal a 180 base power attack every single time he attacks with Frost Breath! Butterfree is also surprisingly good too.

Ahem, I should stop advertising my crap. But yeah, Tepig is good. Make sure you get Adaptability - the moment you get that with Flame Charge, Tepig will be dealing some serious damage.

I went with v3 Clean version and I'm currently at the 3rd gym in Castelia City, started the chasing Team Plasma event before going into the gym. Chased them from the pier back to across from the gym, goes to start the first encounter and I end up with the msg; "An error has occurred. Please turn off the system." Help?

omg Dray, I had my entire team planned out and now I'm starting to second guess it lol! Delibird sounds broken now, but I'm adamant about using Dragonite this time, now I have to wonder if I should just use 2 flyers in exchange for Zoroak

That's... worrying, but I haven't got any way to test/fix that at the moment >_>; Err... you could try using the Full version temporarily, as the .sav is interchangeable. Try the event with that .sav on the Full rom and if that doesn't work either, then I dunno.

But still, I was afraid of something like that, and this time I have no idea :/

Haha yeah, I've changed so much from V2 that I've probably made things quite a bit harder~ Sorry if I cause anyone to die of too much choice.

I almost died of frustation at the start due to Tepig repeatedly scoring crits 4 battles in a row against Oshawott. I finally got lucky and just got the pokedex, bike and town map fixing to head onto route 1.

I really want to have Tepig with adaptability, since I always start new games with Tepig.
But, isn't it giving him an upper hand over other starters ??

Tepig has been the one that had the disadvantage the whole time =P It's basically a choice; you can have a pretty strong Pokémon through the whole game, or you can have a relatively normal one that becomes the true force of broken (Serperior, Samurott) late in the game.

That reminds me; I also changed it so the monkeys can use the elemental beam/pledge tutors and Serperior can learn Draco Meteor via the tutor.

Did you acquire the pokedex? I think you should acquired it to get NatDex

EDIT: about the Liberty Ticket, I checked it and i have it now in my card albums since I didn't even go out of nuvema or whatever

UPDATE: I acquired the NationalDex as written in Guide.txt
