I bought a Pokemon Edition DSi along with a R4 Gold card. I put the lastest version of R4 firmware on my R4 and put all Pokemon games after. Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heart Gold, Soul Silver and even Light Platinum hack works, just that Gen 5 games only load and give me a white screen after. I tried both normal and patched versions of the games and none of them seems to work. What can I do to play the Gen 5 Pokemon games on my DSi? Maybe try RetroGameFan's YSMenu if it supports your flashcard or TWiLight Menu++. YSMenu should support all Pokemon games if it works on your card, while I think B4DS from TWiLight Menu++ currently doesn't support BW1, but you may be able to use YSMenu for game loading and TWiLight as the menu depending on your card.
You can also softmod on your DSi instead of using a flashcard which lets your use TWiLight Menu++ with better compatibility.
