that's your backup file that's untouched in case something goes wrong. The file you selected to be patched is patched. Go use it. The one without the bak

I'm using a Cyclods Ievolution on a DSI with the latest firmwear and no matter what I do. It gives me this error:
ERROR: This DSI-enabled game cannot be played while operating in DSI mode, because the DSI specific sections are missing from the ROM file. Please load IEVO in DSL mode to play this file.
And... I only have a DSI so I can't do that otherwise, obviously, the flashkart thing wont work. The rom I have is the one stated in the first post.

I have the regular card from that site (the one without the i). and what worked for me was retrogamers firmware from gbatemp. If you need a link let me know but should be easy to find. used teh ch v2 patch and the narc translation for English !! worked like a charm no freezes and most everything is English scept dialog. i can get you links if you need just hit me up or reply on here.

ok, here is a quick description and a link for you:
first of all look up a SD formatter and format your SD card.

drag and drop all files from this Zip folder into your SD card. (its a mix of multiple firmwares)
only black 2 is working for now but use the patch folder on a clean rom ( then use any traslations over the top of it i sugest http://pokestation.net/forum/showthread.php?14123-Translation-project-for-Pok%E9mon-Black2-amp-White2 )
(it will say some error after patching the traslation but it works wonders).
drag all your other games back to the "DS games" folder and your all set ^-^ let me know if this was helpful.
