ROM Hack Pokemon Black Translation AND Other Fixes?

I've seen many patches for Pokemon Black but I'm wondering if there is a Patcher for pokemon black that allows you to play the game in english and take care of all the things that make the ROM not function properly when you load it on the R4 SDHC card. The tutorials I have followed have made the game work but only in jap and when I apply a patch to make the game english it stops working completely. I know questions like this get asked all the time but I don't know where to look anymore.

Personally I would suggest looking into a new flashcard, like an Acekard or a Supercard Two, even just a 6$ R4 from Shoptemp, but other than that it should work once you install the tranlated patch
Did you make sure your rom was a clean one before you patched it?
