This isn't news. It's even worse because you posted a review from IGN.

First of all, IGN is stupid. Don't even trust them.

Second of all, EVERYTHING IS CENSORED. Holy shit, that is really annoying.

You can never trust them. They messed up the info about the 3DS several times.

Because IGN are incompetent fucks at reviewing and wrote an entire review but realized it had to get censored because of storyline spoilers (which is bullshit because no one cares about Pokemon storylines). Read IGN's God Hand review and you'll realize how fucking bad they are. Seriously, they can't even play the goddamn games.

IGN's given the other Pokemon games 8.5 out of 10, and they've rounded all reviews to a .5 (meaning it's like 9.5, 9, 8.5, 8, etc). So basically it's a tad bit stronger than the other Pokemon games, whoop-di-do.

I mostly agree with most of what you guys are saying about IGN. For instance they gave Personal Trainer: Cooking a 9.0 and DQ9 an 8.0 -- I'll never forgive them for that. [IMG]

However, their 9/10 review is very similar to the 87/100 the game currently has on Metacritic from 24 reviews. Sometimes IGN gets it right by accident, I guess. [IMG]

For me it is a great grade, it could had been 10 if the monsters were more beatiful, there are a lot of ugly pokemon, it is a great game though.

Did anyone of you hered of "user submitted news"? Its a place where you put NEWS there... How is this section called? NDS- CONSOLE AND GAME DISCUSSIONS, NOT NEWS!!! But 9/10 isn't bad at all... that 1/10 wasn't there because it was reviewed by a sony fanboy...

What the fuck are you talking about.

And the game is playing off the same old formula but it's still fun. I personally prefer Pokemon over a lot of RPGs because it's rather accessible from the get go. I mean you pick it up and within 5-10 minutes you'll know the basics of the game, and they don't really change that much so it's not big leap. Plus you don't have to wade through a mediocre story. Well, yeah, the story is shitty, but it's not like you go through a slew of cutscenes. You just beat shit up, capture shit, beat the shit out of people, and become the best fucking Pokemaster ever.

Unfortunately this really is not news.
And when we're already inundated with a plethora of pokemon threads, it's jsut contributing to the clutter.
