I think "weirdest" is the wrong word to use. very game in the last couple of years that have gotten perfect reviews have all had a huge following that came from either an established franchise or hype from a good developer. Most people would say that the games deserve high praise but not a perfect score. That's what is pissing people off. They went years with only handing out 40/40 every once in a while but now you get a couple of year at least.

This doesn't deserve a perfect score and no game deserve a perfect score. Not from Famitsu, not from anywhere. No games are perfect and giving a perfect score to any game is just wrong.
