Anyone know why White Forest has no grass patches? I've looked all over for a answer and have yet to find one that solved the issue.
I never heard of that before

It might just be the ROM you patched or something related to that.

I'm also getting the problem. And I used a different ROM.

I've read others encountered the issue as well, on an imported game.
So Idk what's going on with this.

Nah it's not just me lol I've seen dozens of reports of this. PyRo is having the same issue.
The only patching I did was the english patch, which is why I'm asking in your thread o.o

Then its not the Patches fault, its a Firmware/Rom issue.

No it is the patches fault then. Before i updated it worked perfectly. Global Link works perfect for my pokemon black and my brothers.(Did not update these) I think the patch messed up my sav file.

Nope. It's not anything to do with firmware/rom. The patch works fine. It's just pretty weird that there is no grass patches in White Forest :wtf:
It's impossible to capture the pokemon that inhabit that area if I simple cannot encounter them.
So this is a pretty big issue... they should really look into it.
I'm not saying it's the patch that's causing it. My guess was another form of AP. Hopefully they will fix the issue.

Uhh.. I'm confused with the V4 patch, someone help please.

I did what it said and dragged the clean rom onto the "Patch", it created a BAK file. I opened it in Desmume, but it's not in English.

Can someone play the Game on his original R4 Revolution SDHC?! I mean using the newest translation Patch!
My Card: ?
94_1.jpg
I followed this and when i insert my own created save of desmume on my Flashcard and boot the game, it will hang on a white screen, with the ORIGINAL_JAPANESE rom i can play the game without any problems :/ SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE =(

@?: You have to open/patch the .nds file, not the bak file, the bak is a backup of your original rom.
And you have to download the newest patch file, open xDelta.gui then select the patch and the (with rudolfs childs playing patch-patched) rom then apply, then wait 1 minute and, taraaaa, you have the *ROMNAME*_patched.nds file, THIS is translated.

Erm, nope, do i have to try it? U think it will make the game playable? ^^
I'll try it now ... ^^

BTW: Maybe it couldn't read my save created by desmume? When i start the game normal, without save, my flashcard creats a save and then i can play the game ... i save the game, load it again, and ma savefile is destroyed ... Then i put the new save file created by desmume on my flashcard, then white screen =/

Hmm, I did all of that. The Patched rom itself works fine, but when I try to load my save, it fails. I renamed it so that my Save/The patched rom had the same name, but still no luck. Any ideas?

The BAK file is a copy of the clean, unpatched ROM. The patched ROM will have the same filename as the original clean one.

If you ever need to use the clean rom again you can just change the .BAK to .NDS and you're good to go.

Don't worry, it all patched alright for you - you've just opened the clean ROM in Desmume instead of the patched one.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
