    i heard about this on facebook.

    that sucks, pokemon was a staple in my childhood.

    He only worked on the anime, not the game itself.

    It's kinda sad he passed away. I never really followed Pokemon when I was young nor do I play the games now, but it sucks for the fans.

    61, that's still a tad too young [​IMG] . In my book, you aren't considered old until you hit 70. Most people probably just think 65 is old because a lot of people don't live that long. Anyway, may he R.I.P .

    Especially young for Japan, where people tend to live to a slightly greater age than North America.

    That's unfortunate, but 61 years is time to live a good enough life. I'm pretty sure he enjoyed it well....

    The first Pokemon season and episodes (Kanto) played a huge part in my childhood. I even got the Pokemon Movie that featured the Unkowns and Entei for Christmas. That was all I ever wanted when I was little.
