I think it uses the wireless function of the DS itself to communicate....
It could be IR actually, like the Personal Walking Coach thing.

Seems your right:

Looks like it's gonna they remade the Legendary encounters. They look way more epic.

I think I saw a picture with Lugia coming out of a waterfall, as opposed to you going in front of it, and it sayin, 'GYAAAaHH!'.

Lol, I remembered the days of saving right in front of the legendaries.

I wonder what the 2 character slots are for. One is probably Giovanni but I wonder who the last one is.

Maybe Cynthia since she was in the scans with Arceus?

Giovanni is missing in G/S/C and Gary is the 8th Kanto Gym Leader and those must be Battle Frontier trainers.
Oh yeah that's right...then who was the end game boss? Or was there one? I've forgotten the storyline.

I'm thinking they will add a battle frontier because the Battle Frontier in Hoenn is actually Kanto's battle frontier and seeing Johto and Kanto are connected they will probably add a battle frontier. Anyway I just hope they have the same old G/S but enhanced allot and by looking at this game I'm going to get a japanese version and a english version.

Also I'm going to keep an eye on the mini-site it has many sections that haven't been added yet

Aw. True it was Red. But I was talking about the Team Rocket boss. Like the evil villain. Though Red is probably one of those slots.

Looks like Arceus can finally be legitimately captured as seen on of one the screenshots.
Actually, it's referring to an event you trigger when you bring over the movie Arceus from DPP.

The Team Rocket boss was some dude at the top of Goldenrod City's radio tower, I believe. Maybe he'll be an actual character this time, instead of appearing as a Rocket Grunt.

Sorry this is reply is long.

I used an online translator and went to the ped0meter thing and it said this.
Website Translated: http://www.pokemon.co.jp/special/hgss/pokewalker/index.html
or (sorry i lost the page and not sure which one I translated)
http://www.pokemon.co.jp/special/hgss/pokewalker/02.html
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It counts the number of steps by carrying about, [pokemon] it is attached, it can receive experience value according to the number of steps!
*
Walked to [pokemon] and simultaneous the number of steps which
It keeps being counted!
*
Level rising at the experience value which receives!

*
If many [pokemon] you go out distantly, the course which it can go keeps increasing!
Specification of [pokeuoka]
* Electric battery: Button electric battery 1 use (CR2032)
* Basic machine weight: Approximately 21g (electric battery it includes)
* Substance size: Diameter 48mm thickness 13.9mm (key top not being included)
* Infrared ray communication correspondence
* smurfmeter functional attachment
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So I'm guessing that it's telling you to walk so your Pokemon in the ped0meter thing will gain experience. So it's another attempt to incorporate exercise in gaming. I think they are clever for doing this, but most kids might just shake the ped0meter...

NOTE: It makes ped0meter into smurfmeter so.... I just changed the "o" in the word, into "0"

When “watt” is used, you catch [pokemon] of wildness with “[poketore],” how search the [gu] with “[daujingumashin] and” can insert in the hand, furthermore send those to the software also can!

When you can find [pokemon] skillfully, start of battle!
[pokemon] which comes out due to the course which goes out, is different!

I think you can catch pokemon from the ped0meter. I'm not really sure. You guys should take a guess.
