It's good to see this emulator is still being supported. I'll try it on my Gameboy Player with my Flash Advance Xtreme 512mb cart. [IMG]

I love this emulator. I use it a lot more than NesDS. Nice seeing Dwedit showing so much support for it.

It's too bad even the DS screen is vertically shorter than an NES renders graphics at.

Is that why it's hard to read text sometimes?

Yes, it is. That's the reason graphics in NES emulators for GBA or DS look off compared to PC or PSP ones.

Probably because NES DS is based off a very old version of PocketNES, whereas Dwedit has continuously improved PocketNES many times since the split.

Personally most of my games run fine in NES DS, so I use that for the fast-forward and rewind capabilities, but I also use PocketNES on occasion.

It's nice to see an NES emulator that's still being worked on [IMG]

For what it is worth m3rox HVCA still sees updates every few months:

Still emulators are nice, pocketnes especially: many good times.

To be honest the only reason I know about HVCA is because it's the only method to playback NSF files on the GBA without the use of Moonshell. I spent hours trying to find a way to get them to work before I found HVCA (actually converted some NSF tracks to *.nes roms for a few games)

Heck, that's what I use my GBA for half the time! (The Famicompo Battle Garegga song rocks so hard.)

I didn't know HVCA is still updated!

...and by Moonshell in that last post I definitely meant Pogoshell.

I really need to get more sleep.
