Just downloaded this and absolutely loving it, but my biggest QOL gripe is the left thumbstick (but not the C-stick) has a tendency to drift upwards. I installed on an old 2DS as well and faced the same issue. Does it look like this could get corrected in future builds?
Yes, the deadzone is increased slightly in the next build. Mouse sensitivity should also take the scaling in account and is adjustable with the in-game settings.
i cannot get this to work on a old 3DS, it will boot up. i can see the standby or get ready art then it will just hang on a black screen. installed this through FBI .CIA.
This really leaves me in the blank.. Since i cannot reproduce this issue, it's very hard to come up with a solution.
I can run the game just fine on my old3ds, old2ds and old3DSXL. It becomes very slow in some area's, but it does run without issues on my end.
Maybe the next update fixes this for the users fortunate enough to experience the issue.
I was able to free up and assign some more memory to the application. The 'art_cache_size' will be ignored completely since the application will check the actual available memory during runtime and adjust accordingly.
By default, unaltered, it was set to 8mb. (64mb max - 32mb linear heap - 8mb art_cache = ~24mb free approximately)
On new3ds this is increased to ~80mb, leaving 16mb free for the application to use (~9mb free in-game).
On old3ds this depends on running .3dsx or .cia, but will increase to respectively ~20mb and ~40mb. With also 16mb free.
Otherwise, i might need to distribute a debug version in an attempt to figure out why and where the game is causing an issue.
But to be honest, i much rather spend my time fixing other issues and adapting the layouts.
i am having a issue where when i launch the game it cannot find master data file
You'll need to provide the 'MASTER.DAT' file yourself. Just as 'CRITTER.DAT' and the 'DATA' folder.
