Hello everyone, I was working these days on a port of corgi3ds for android since I wanted to learn how to develop native apps for this platform.

By doing this I learned 3 things:
    • how to use ndk
    • how resolution scaling works
    • how to use sdl on android

To use the emulator you will need these files (with godmode9 you get them), and sdcard.bin can be obtained by doing dd from the sdcard (dd if=/dev/sdb of=./sdcard.bin bs=4096).
The files have to be dumpeted from an old 3ds with the latest firmware version, luma3ds and boot9strap. That is the setup that I have, probably your setup will also work (while using luma3ds and boot9strap) it is a matter of testing if it works.

The files must be in this directory (/sdcard/3ds):
    Code:
    /sdcard/3ds/boot9.bin
    /sdcard/3ds/boot11.bin
    /sdcard/3ds/nand.bin
    /sdcard/3ds/sdcard.bin

The emulator works only on 64-bit devices (x86_64, aarch64), I am using a Razer Phone 2 and the performance is very bad, to the point that it is unusable. It also has no touch or controls implemented.

    Emulator source code: https://github.com/PSI-Rockin/Corgi3DS
Android fork source code: https://github.com/skyl5nk/corgi3ds-an (you will not be able to compile it and there is no documentation)

If this is as bad as you say it is right now. This should be classed more as a POC than a actual release.

You're right, it's more like a POC, I would change the thread title but it seems that the thread editor doesn't let me.

It aint too bad. I wish ya all the best with this.

If you ever need something like that done. You can select the message tools drop down and report option. You can put a little note in there and a mod can change it for you.

    I do not have old3DS but new3DS.
Are there any ways to use corgi3ds by modifying nand from new3ds?

When I try to use godmode9 in corgi3ds, it crashes. How about you?

I tested it on Android 9.0, although Android >7.0 should work.
    yeah, it does not work
No, corgi3ds does not work with new3ds' nands, only with old3ds' nands.
