hi guys im new to all this so joined this site to get some information, well before i go mad, and spend money on a new card that i might not even need !!??!!.

I Have christmas version limited edition, R4 Revolution for (NDSL/NDS) www.R4ISDHC.COM with 4 gb card ?

works fine in the dsi xl but cant get the new games to work for the kids, pokemon black and white etc etc..

some straight shooting questions

will wood work for this ?
if so which one ?
If not , what is the best card on the market to get ?

WOOD R4 does not suppor your card.
Only the original r4, r4idsn and r4i gold(r4ids.cn) are supported by wood r4.
