Hacking Please help, stuck on frankenfirmware 11.0.0-4U

yeah, probably it has been updated from ver. 2.1, but in my case i don't even know if the 3ds has been jailbroken before, maybe it has been and that's why it got in a frankenfirmware and can't update anymore.

i don't know about ernestswitch, if his console has already been jailbroken, if not then this can be some bug that nintendo has to solve.

I have the same problem. As far as I know, hard mod is the only way.

You could always sell on eBay for around $150 and buy another 3DS XL. Actually now would be the perfect time to upgrade to the New Nintendo 3DS and just invest about $40. I also have a 3DS XL(OLD) soft modded for sale if you're interested in buying but I charge $180 for the work and because the SD Card is 32GB fully loaded.

The 11.0.0-33 otherapp.bin should work with your firmware, since it doesn't give a shit about the browser version.

Wait.... Now let me see if i understand this correctly,you followed everything in the guide up to the point where you needed to restore your NAND backup but since you where on a old 3ds on 2.1 you tried to update instead.....But with a game....Am I right?
