If the roms can not be showed in the file browser of EZ-OMEGA but can be showed on windows file explorer.
That could be the file attributes are incorrect,
uncheck readonly. check Archive. apply to all the files and folders and their children.
Another possible problem is that the total number of characters in the file name + all directory names exceeds 254 letters
for example:
E:\GBA\A-Z\A\A very long file name.gba
from GBA to name are not more than 254 letters.
I just came across this post and reviving it (hopefully). I'm running into the exact same issue and have tried all of the suggestions. None of the roms are "Ready Only" = False and "Files Ready for Archiving" = True.
The Rom files are recognized in the Root, but once I paste the files into a folder, the folders do not show up.
I created a folder named "Test1" and "Test2".
"Test1" is empty.
"Test2" I put in a rom.
In Root, I put in the same rom.
Test1 folder shows up.
Test2 folder does not.
Rom is playable from root (and the correct thumbnail works too).
Next, I deleted the rom from "Test2" folder, and checked to see if it shows up. "Test2" folder doesn't show up even though the rom is no longer inside. What's weird, is that there is ~100bytes of data still in "Test2" after the rom was deleted. I don't know what data is still in that folder, because it's empty.
I have no idea what I can do to make roms appear in the folder.
