I loved the first game, it's one of my all time faves, but like Viri said I don't care for the sequel - I've seen everything shown of it but just don't like what I'm seeing. It'll be 'good' I'm sure, but I'm thinking good as in Uncharted 4 good, or RDR2 good, as in not really good enough. But that's just my opinion!

Anyway these Plus offerings - fukk that! Most of us own/have played the main game here already, and I'm not buying a month of Plus to play a game of fukkin Rounders......

The difference between the PS3 and Remastered PS4 version when played on a standard PS4 is decent but nothing amazing, but on the PS4 Pro it's way, WAY more than just "a bit better". It's a very noticeably huge difference.

Not for me since back then in the X360 and PS3 era I used a nice 720P LG LED TV 22 inch at almost 2 meters away from it lol, basically most games I tried even at ultra 1080P on PC the Xbox was looking much better so I played most games on the X360 even though I could play them all with better FPS and ultra 1080P settings in the PC because the LG screen was so small and at high distance, the console even looked close to my current PS4 on some games, though I can't deny it was hard to read text on the small TV ...

Anyway on PC even with way better visuals I'm at like 30 cm from the monitor which is a 1080P 22 inch, so I can spot right away big differences between the worse and the better texture, the 3D is all broken without AA while on the Xbox even without AA and worse visuals since I played at 2 meters from the same 22 inch but LG TV everything looked super sharp and couldnt see much bad textures either (also the old LG TV have a super nice white, it adds some kind of anti-aliasing by it self and also has a nice edge enhancement which made everything way more HD that is lacking on my current more recent 4K samsung TV, it was perfect for the old gen consoles while on my friends houses they were using huge 720P or huge 1080P samsung TV's and the PS3\X360 looked like it had half the visuals compared to my smaller setup at high distances, also the old LG has kinda good input lag with all the enhancements active so I never needed to activate gaming mode while my current 4K TV MUST be always on gaming mode and its still has a HUGE input lag that I never seen before, its miles worse than my first crap LCD monitor from 2004) .

Nowadays on my current Samsung 43 inch 4K TV and now yes when I connect the PS3 and the Xbox360 it looks like GARBAGE.

Except none of that has anything to do with the facts of my post you quoted. I should have originally specifically stated "On a PS4 Pro, in 4K", but the fact remains that TLoU Remastered played on a PS4 Pro is leaps and bounds better. Your gear is irrelevant to what the game/system instead is actually outputting. This is not disputable. Look at the shadow quality alone on the Pro in 4K.

I know and have seen comparisons long time ago lol... It's just that I don't use the 22 inch small nice LG LED LCD anymore...

The thing is the original PS3 on the older small LG at high distances everything looked impressively better, now when connecting it to the bigger TV at same distance everything is just blurred and broken compared to the old setup...

And in fact with my old setup the PS3 version would look basically very close to the PS4 Pro remastered one on my current setup since the TV is way bigger, I couldn't see the shadows and 3D as bad as like in the picture at 2 meters away from a 22 inch 720 P TV, the problem was that I would need zoom glasses if I wanted to read some small text on some games ...

also love baseball games, but haven't really played one in like 10 years cause i never felt the need to buy those either

lol started downloading already, it's already at enough to start the application so i'm gonna start playing now. extra data seems to be a multiplayer mode? didn't know about a MP mode but i'll check that out later i suppose
