At first: I don't know what was the right section to post this; so I thought this was the best section to post it!

Hello all, at first i want to thank you for reading this.

I recently softmodded my Wii succesful with xzxero's guide. My Wii is on 4.2e. I don't have a LU64+ Wii(It's a LEH+), I installed BootMii as Boot2 and IOS, HBC, DVDx etc.
After everything was installed I got Homebrew Browser and installed Waninkoko's cIOS rev 16 and Hermes cIOS (dunno what rev, it's a new one though(got it from http://sites.google.com/site/completesg/home from xzxero etc.) I then installed MPlayer_CE and tried to load a DVD with it (it was War of the Worlds).
Loaded my Wii put in DVD and then opened MPlayer_CE with HBC. Go to Open and then Wii DVD it never loaded, it just freezed at that point.

Soo i would like ot get some help with this, anybody has ideas?

The newer wii's with thre LU64 drive's can not load dvd's the only way you can get it to work is if you were to change the drive in your wii sorry

Edit : Totally Sorry bout that misread it

If you expect 100% Compatibility, then I must dissapoint you. From Ten DVDs I've tried, only one worked. Playing DVDs is more a gimick, if you want to play DVDs, get a DVD Player.

Playing movies on my Wii (which was bought from release date) most of them didn't work, or (like The Simpson season DVD's) didn't play most of the episode's on the disc.
Just buy a DVD player (they are not that much [IMG] )
Or play them on your computer (though Windows Media Player wants you to pay for something, so just use VLC player or XBMC)

Go back into the BootMii / HackMii installer and make sure that you install DVDX.
Without DVDX installed, you won't be playing any dvd movies...

What do you want? You have three-times the same and right answer: miserable compatibility.

Buy a Player or leave it. Gosh...
