I'm sure it's a simple question, but Google only gave me ads for crap.

Anyway, is it possible to play imported games through a USB loader? Not just a backup, but the physical disk. Is there any way to set it up so that you can play imported games through the disk channel instead?

I only ask because it looks like there are going to be some games me and a friend want to get that will never come to the states sadly, and if I can simply get it imported from Europe or something and play it on my Wii, then all the better.

    Probably a simple question.

I assume all back up disc loaders like Neo Gamma will play imports just fine, but im not 100% sure on that one since I have not imported any wii games from japan.

You can if you hack the system menu and remove the region lock.

yeah priiloader will take care of it for disks, and if you use a usbloader like cfgusbloader, you can change video mode to launch NTSC, this allows you to play imports from all regions.

No USB loaders by definition load games from USB. What you want is a disk loader.
While some loaders are both usb and disc loaders they are always do one much better then the other.
For disc loading iirc neogama was best but its years since I did that.
Not having to handle the physical discs but keeping them save in the shelve is much more convenient.
Loading imports from disc channel is possible using "darkcrap" but it involves replacing every single IOS with a hacked one ant therefore is a really stupid thing to do imho.
A forwarder channel to the loader, placed right beside the disc channel is a much better solution.
