How exactly do I go about doing that? Although I don't have the game yet, I heard that Dead Rising has text issues in SDTVs, and that's what I have :\ My monitor is a bit smaller than my TV screen, but it's a 17" flat screen monitor and there's a chance that it could look a little better. I also heard from several sources that sometimes, playing the game on a computer monitor would somewhat fix the problem...

Im pretty sure theres adapters to connect a SD cable or component cables to a monitor. Just google it and see if you find anything.

The VGA cable is the solution. The NXE introduced improved support for monitor resolutions, too.

make sure you buy a high quality one otherwise you'll get a lot of ghosting. though it probably won't be too noticeable on a 17" monitor.
