is it possible to use PlayCoinSetter app on the new Ninjhax ?
Ninjhax can only launch homebrew with the '.3dsx' file extension.
The only known forms of play coin setter are '.3ds' extention and can launch on the gateway 3DS and the versions from the bigbluebox SDK leak, which, again, require a Gateway 3DS card and emuNAND setup to use.
with ninjhax right now = Impossible.
I'd imagine one day in the not so distant future that it'll be converted or possible to launch it. If all else fails you can always place your 3DS on a washing machine
Umm that torrent doesn't prove anything. All that person has done is throw some homebrew / some gateway files / and one nintendo sdk app (playcoinsetter) in there and call it a homebrew pack...
And that playcoinsetter is no doubt the .3ds version that's been floating around for a while now.
If there's a way to rebuild those tools into .3dsx then it might work.
If not the IIRC those tools aren't open source so recompiling into 3dsx isn't possible.
oh , thanks
there no way to convert the file type ?
Last time i tried to explain the reason why Ninjhax can not play .3DS extension (and ROMs, also) i got 2 pages of hate from all the know-it-all users of gbatemp, so I'll let someone else chime in here and explain why.
Grab some popcorn and watch the show...
I think it should be possible to set play coins with the way homebrew currently runs, because games themselves can modify playcoins (use them in-game to buy something), it is just that nobody has found (or released) it.
At the very least, it should be possible to take away play coins
