    I bought Um Jammer Lammy on psn on my psp and I couldn't play it. It said "The game could not be started CA000005". I used psnlover to go on and buy it. So after I tried putting a keys.bin in the same folder as UJL and got another error "The game could not be started 80-------" (I don't remember the numbers). I am running 5.50 Gen D-3 (final). So does anyone know how to fix this?

    I've seen someone else have this problem and resolve it by switching to a different stick (they were using a Photofast adapter and switched to a 4GB Sandisk).

    Sounds dubious and it may do nothing but worth a shot?

    Has your PSP been activated with PSN? It needs to be activated before any purchased content will work, custom firmware or not.

    Yep both are genuine. I read that there is no way to play bought games from psn on CFW (Hoping thats not true or I wasted like $10).

    I heard here on gbatemp of a new plugin called m33_620
    It only works on m33, though.
    The developer said GEN has to many bugs to support and he specifically asked not to upload somewhere else, so google it.

    I thought there was a PC exe that could make PSN games compatible for every PSP? Never used it though, that's all I know about it.

    I highly doubt it, that would involve breaking Sony's encryption and every person here would know if that ever occurred.

    That would be NPDecryptor but it's a PSP app that is run on the PSP which purchased the content and you actually need to be able to play it.

    Decrypting =/= encrypting.
    Being able to decrypt sony's encryption is quite doable, but the reverse (aka, putting sony's encryption on your files) would be stupendously hard.
    Is it me, or do people miss all the subtle differences?

    i had the same problem with patapon 2, and just wound up getting an iso from my source and deleting my psn download. it still worked with my save files too. that was the only solution that i got to work

    I guess I'll quote myself, since I'm being ignored. [IMG]

    Your PSP needs to be activated with PSN -- I can play all of my purchased content just fine on GEN/M33/OFW.

    Sorry about ignoring you [IMG] . I did activate it on PSN and it still refuses to work.

    it would have helped if the full error code was posted - they all mean things [IMG]

    i suspect in this case, the file needs to be put through edecrypt.
