I have one of the really old Flashadvance 128 cartridges for my gba. My old gba is pretty knackered (got it at japanese launch, pretty much played it non-stop till got ds lite last christmas) and so isn't great for playing gba games on.

I've tried to get the flashadvance working with my ds but it either doesn't work at all or crashes at the first screen making horrible noises.

Has anyone managed to get a flashadvance working with the ds at all? i'm tired of not having anything useful in that slot. I want my old school advance wars dammit! and golden sun!

It's a known fact that the Flash Advance carts crash on DS systems. My Visoly Flash Advance 128M Turbo also crashes.

Go get an EZ-Flash 3in1, eWin Expansion Pak or a more dedicated SLOT-2 solution (EZ-Flash IV, M3 Lite, etc.)

Just avoid SuperCard's for GBA games; their memory is too slow to run all GBA ROMs at full speed.
