Hacking play-asia consoles

I am interested in getting a silver or navy dsl off play-asia, but i am concerned about any compatibility issues.
I think that the games will work on any ds other than chinese IIRC.
However, my main concern is the power, the play-asia ones run at 110v, Does anyone from the UK know if this conforms to our system? Will i have to buy any plug converters or anything else?
My question may be noobish but i just wish to clarify.
