Homebrew Planning to learn how to code for 3DS homebrew. What do I need to know, guys?

Update your ctrulib

Right. I've made "libsf2d.a", which I understand is the library. But where do I put it now?
I'm doing all of this so I can compile new projects in the future. Please help me!

Just type: make install

But I think there's one last problem. It terminated the making of sfillib because it
couldn't find jpeglib.h

What do I need to install, now?

libjpeg (you can also use vita_portlibs by xerpi to compile different useful libraries for 3DS.

It has libctru libhbkb libsf2d libsfil libsftd and all the portlibs included.
You just have to copy the folders to your devkitpro folder and also add portlibs to your PATH, mine is at C:\devkitPro\portlibs and you should be good to go.

Setting up files for developing 3DS homebrew seems like an arduous task, I am sure you'd rather have homebrew made than be stuck with errors because the libraries wouldnt install

Exactly that. It CAN be a mega pain in the ass to get stuff setup which is why i offered to share my libs etc to help out.
And @Voxel Studios didn't ask for anything except help, i just chose to help by sharing said files.

If you know the basics of how to use a computer and to use Google the errors are kinda easy to solve though. And if you want to update your libraries in the future you should have a proper environment setted up.
