This hard drive is perfect for USB loader and stuff and I would highly recommend it because it is small, powers from USB and is easy to find in retail stores. I have the Western Digital MyPassport Eliet (500 GB) and i just LOVE it. I would also Recommend partioning it with a partitioning program like "Partition Wizard".

I have to recommend Western Digital Elements... 1TB for about $110USD! Works great for all my usb loader stuff and homebrew. I got mine online walmart.com

Ok my hard drive arrived but now I got another problem.

When I plug it into the wii it doesn´t get recognized, so I tried to change the format to WBFS, which doesn´t work either. It seems like WBFS manager 3.0 can't see it either. Please help

Specifically what app(s) don't recognize the drive? You do have a USB loader of some sort with the requisite cIOS, right?

I´m using USB loader gx no idea which version I think it was something like rev57. I am now trying to install Hermes cIOS 222/223 and rev14 stuff.

Edit: Nope still nothing.
