It makes me sad that I am the only one of my kind around me...

I guess typing, we all talk the same, but when we speak, we show our cultures. I guess I have a bit of a southern accent deep down, but I hide it because I rather hate it.

I agree 100%. Our regional accent tends to be one of the most looked-down upon in the worldwide community.

But "culture" or language or mode of speech is more than just the accent you put on words, it's the words you use in the first place, like the aforementioned "crumpet".

It's a lot worse here in the south. A lot of people are technically retarded here. They follow "trends" a lot, like those stupid abercrombie or american eagle, or iPods. Kodak, PSP, only because people think it's "cool." Kind of went off subject there, but still, I couldn't get someone to come on here without trolling this place, and my best friends don't have internet either(they live down the street though

)so I'm actually completely different here. I kind of like that I have privacy from my friends here on GBATemp, I'm a lot different here than in real life, I would be scared of what I say out there, nervous around a lot of people, especially if their older than me, but here, mostly everyone here's older than be, and yet I don't really care, I like that, I have my privacy.

Also I could talk about personal problems I can't mention to friends, because they know I like her, and they joke around it too much...

I wouldn't mind family though(like cousins)
