Really? That's good to hear, I been planning to watch it, but reviewers just love to rip the trilogy movies apart.

I recently saw a trailer in the cinema and it totally blew me away.

I hope it`s as good as I expect it to be.

It felt very bloated and manic. Chow Yun Fat the perennial bad ass was wasted in his role... you hear his name and you want to see him throw at least one punch. Too many characters in a muddled plot with too much crap we've seen before. And I know we're supposed to suspend disbelief, as well as time and space... but how do you travel from Singapore to the Caribbeans so quickly? It's a Summer popcorn movie that's got about 10 squirts too much butter.

gotta agree with the "it was good cause it was"
too many loose ends, and random crap: eg chow fat, and kieth richards. just throwin em in cause they could.

and bits in plot that make no sence, like they had so much crap to tell they had no room to breath with cool fight/funny scenes.

but yeah it was epic, and i enjoyed it.

I'm expecting nothing from the 3rd since the 2nd sucked so much... And friends told me it totally sucked.

That pretty much sums it up. I liked the first 1, thought the 2nd one was ok, but this one was just horrible. I had no idea what was going on for a good portion of the movie, but didn't really even care because it wasn't interesting anyways. And yet it will make $999 trillion. [IMG]

I enjoyed it, brilliant special effects and fight scenes. Some pretty funny moments as well [IMG]

Although some of the plot was a bit 'what the?'. Lots of loose ends for the inevitable sequel as well...

The first one is simply the best. Great characters, perfect dialogue, good plot.

While all three have brilliant FX the second and third simply go... nowhere. Just feels dull, while looking nice.

While watching the third I just thought many jokes felt far too artificial and shoved-in, like the marriage scene.

Don't get me started on logical issues...

I loved the first one, second one I kinda liked until I saw it again and it bored me silly with its contrived set pieces. 3rd one was even more contrived and went on for far too long than it should have.
