Pikmin 3 (Wii U) confirmed to be at E3 2012

Kotaku contacted Nintendo for confirmation on their interview statements and received a response (shown below) confirming that Pikmin 3 will be shown.

"In a recent interview, Mr. Miyamoto confirmed that a new Pikmin game will be shown at the E3 Expo in June. He believes that anyone who has played Pikmin games in the past will enjoy playing."

Ummm.... Dragon Quest X is being released for the Wii U and the Wii. Furthermore, I was hoping that maybe we would get Pikmin on a handheld cause that would be awesome.

Yeah but Dragon Quest as a whole is shit.

The Wii is basically dead and there's really no reason to develop for it. If the Wii U is on the market in the same time span as the Xbox 360/PS3, it's just easier to port to it, plus there's like more you can do with the Wii U than the Wii. Like, you can make HD quality games! Wow!
