Hacking Pictures of New/Old R4

I bought a new R4 because I'm giving my old one to my cousin.
Here are some pictures.

I wasn't aware that there were 'new' R4's. What's the difference? Just a stronger plastic or just a new colored case?

They both feel the same. There's no longer a spring. The new slot feels like the slot on an SD Adapter.

It just looks cheaper to me. Nice to see comparison though but one of the main selling points for me about the R4 was the build quality, thats out the window now though, glad I've got a old one.

I would've done a comparision shot if my sister didn't take my R4 yesterday.

I can confirm that cheapmod.com supplies the new R4 if people (for whatever reason) wants to order it.

The new Slot (which I have) is sooo much better, don't have to worry about springs breaking now.

The MicroSD no longer shows itself when viewing the R4 in the front.

It's a bit of a... B**** to get out though. =P

is it me or the MicroSD slot is bigger now?

look like i was right...the MicroSD slot does look bigger....i guess you need to pull out the MicroSD with your finger since the spring is gone.
