Homebrew author 0xtob has created a new program called Pictoblog for the Neoflash Spring coding competition. This program allows you to post hand drawn images straight to your blog from anywhere, with your DS! Check here for a list of blogging softwares compatible with the feature.

Pictoblog uses the Metaweblog API, which is a very popular API supported by major CMSs such as Wordpress and Drupal and dozens of others.

Here's a blog I set up for testing. It's the default settings in the configuration file, so I don't take responsibility for the contents!

Setup


  * Patch Pictoblog with the DLDI patch for your card

  * Edit pictoblog.ini according to your blog's settings

  * Copy Pictoblog and pictoblog.ini to the root of your car

If you just want to try it out, you can leave pictoblog.ini unchanged. You posts will then be published on the test blog.

Please don't flood the blog or post inappropriate pictures!

Looks pretty awesome. Not the most useful thing, but cool nonetheless.

Can't get it to work, just stays at "connecting to wifi..." forever. I know my wifi connection is working, so there must be something else that fails... to bad looked really cool.

Awsome and useful app, needs an eraser, though. Also shift and CAPS dont work.
