Mario's Picross was a great game on GBA, Picross DS is due out over here tomorrow. I recommend anyone who enjoys the odd puzzle game to give it a go. There are lots of different versions out in Japan across the Nintendo platforms in the past, there was even a Kirby one on the SNES BS service.

Its brilliant, this version is possible the best I've played, just for the wi-fi features. Very good tutorial at the start for those who haven't played it before. Spent just under an hour playing it, very relaxing game but I've now got stylus holding fatigue.

Most addictive game since Puzzle Quest. If Nintendo advertise this enough I can see this being as popular as its other "Touch generation" titles.

I remember playing Mario's Picross on the GB mono back in 1995, loved it I might have to look into this version.

I assume cause the game isn't officially out yet?

Strange though, the Japanese server has 18 packs up and working fine.

I looked up what picross was all about about a week ago and did a couple of puzzles - which was a mistake. I've been resorting to some rubbish shareware to feed my habit and tide me over until tomorrow.

So, has anyone tried using the (J) save with the (E) release? I know it normally works, but it's being very weird for me. Everything is still in daily picross, free mode is completely open (even though it wasn't before,) and normal isn't open past level 4, even though it was open to 10. Any luck from anyone else?

PuyoDead, I have the exact same issue. Looks like we'll just have to replay...EVERY EFFIN' PUZZLE. On the bright side, it retains the puzzles I downloaded from the J servers.

Man. I converted my J save, and had up to level 10 unlocked in normal, but only 4 in free. now it's reversed in E (it only shows lvl 4 complete for normal and shows all lvls on free). Anyone else have this problem? And if not, how did you convert your save?

No offense, but look up. That's exactly what samred and I were talking about. I've tried using my (J) save for the (E) release, then putting it back with the (J) release. It's back to normal that way. It just seems the data for normal and free modes are reversed in the (E) release. I've also tried playing a few puzzles, to maybe make it "remember" that I have other levels unlocked, but no luck.

My bad, my bad. I skimmed, and thought it was just about the downloads. Yeah, tried to play a few to fix it, but same. Oh well =(
