I put 100ohm resistors in each spot. I could have sworn that’s what I was doing before (it’s been awhile since I’ve done one). When I get home from work I’ll switch it out for a 47ohm.Resistor values? Which modchip? I had that same error once, and the cause was too much resistance on the CLK line (47ohm + the modchip had another 47ohm on board already).
Giving an update on this after six weeks: The Switch still works absolutely fine. I'd still like to learn the Kamikaze method but right now I feel pretty confident about reballing the eMMCsJust to update this for people who are interested:
I've re-done my work on the eMMC, even switched to a new eMMC altogether, because the old one has gone through like four reball cycles at this point and I wanted to rule out any issues from that. Now I only used Sn63Pb37 solder and Sn63Pb37 solder paste and made sure to clean the area around the eMMC with an ungodly amount of IPA after I was done. I also used a wire with a 0.04mm diameter for the DAT0 line. Everything works now and I've left the Switch on and in the dock while running Tears of the Kingdom for 36 hours and still, everything works fine, let's hope this time it stays that way.
There you might have the problem, 2.74 was withdrawn because it was problematic.2.74 on picofly

I use 2.75 very nice but i will use 2.80 or 2.81 firmware after know about what is new on it.There you might have the problem, 2.74 was withdrawn because it was problematic.
v2.74 + 300 mhz precisionrp2040 may be not stable at 300mhz
Update your firmware on the chip to atleast 2.75 and test…
And with 100 units i would expect that the installer to atleast keep track of firmwares and atleast know about resistors and the problem to boot ofw if you use the wrong ones.
It’s all in the guide here on this forum, but it feels like some guys make a quick buck after watching youtube…
But thats just me… And i have been around modding consoles since OG xbox and ps2 days..

Here, but it requires removing the mask to expose the via (just like CLK).So I was just thinking. I thought one of the benefits of doing the kamikaze method was that you don’t have to remove the board from the housing. So there must be an alternative RST point right?
well, since I don't have such console, we can only try messing with attempts and timeouts
(try 2.80)
hello. do you recommend upgrading if I'm running 2.75 without issues so far?All firmwares should work on the whole range of NS models. I personally test on my Switch Lite
Use doken on tv hear sound...Hi, this is my 20~th oled mod and first time having this error..
All diode value ok.. but there is no display at all when turning it on. Even when i disconnected all the fpcb (not booting to OFW)
Suggestion what went wrong and how to fix it?

happened to me but it was a short on the 3v3 line. This oled had error with the wi-fi and I tried a reflow without success. After a day I had that error and with the tester I saw the 3v3 line in dispersion practically. Luckily I solved it with a new reflow on the Wi-Fi chip zonesHi, this is my 20~th oled mod and first time having this error..

I have another unit with this problem again. I can help test this out before switching to instinct. So far 2.80 still doesn't solve the problem. Switch still boots ofw once in a while.well, since I don't have such console, we can only try messing with attempts and timeouts

Do you use the flex cable that is included wit the chips?I have another unit with this problem again. I can help test this out before switching to instinct. So far 2.80 still doesn't solve the problem. Switch still boots ofw once in a while.
I tested both the flex and wires. Made no difference.Do you use the flex cable that is included wit the chips?
Have you used the rp 2040 tiny with same results?I tested both the flex and wires. Made no difference.
