Gaming Phoenix Wright Series - Question

Hi!

I want to start playing the whole Phoenix series and I was wondering.

Is the english translation the same in the US and the EU roms?

It the english in the EU Rom from England??

No, the EU has slightly better English, but the US games always come out first.
So if you're talkin about PW1/2, then go for EU, and for 3, go for US!

However is it UK-formatted text? Using UK idioms and UK spelling? Or just the same translation with the spelling mistakes ironed out?

By the way, I have only played the first PW so far and I absolutely loved it... however Justice For All (currently playing the second case) feels inferior, the music took A DRASTIC turn for the worse and the cases and writing don't seem to be written as well, Phoenix's amnesia was extremely corny and none of the new characters have really impressed me (well maybe except for von Karma).

Is Trials & Tribulations a step-up (I'm afraid JFA's corny music already put it under PW1 even if the writing improves later on)? I would be disappointed if everything will be going downhill from here and PW1 is the best in the series.

in the music department, I think T&T is an improvement over JFA, but nothing can touch the music of the original! The story in t&t is also great, and really wraps up the trilogy nicely IMO, it is a must play! Think of T&T as the typical 3rd 'last in the trilogy' type feel, e.g return of the jedi, return of the king etc.

I used to play the Japanese Version where I can switch it to English.

If you're talking about the first PW game, they only put in 2 languages for each cart for europe as opposed to the usual 5 EU languages in one game.

I want to play the EU version because I'm a "quebecoise" so I speak french.

I want to be able to switch to french if I don't understand something but I don't want no "england" slang I would not get.
