So I am getting really busy right now so it might be awhile before I get a chance to get this working for these assembly hacks.

Life is catching up and my house needs a lot a work done before the winter. Hopefully will get this done in a month or so.

I live in Minnesota and with the time change in about 2 weeks, it will be dark by the time I get home from work which makes it real hard to get any work done outside on my house. I wish we could just get rid of this Daylight saving time in the US. It just screws everything up and statically 100s of people each year get killed because of it.
It serves no purpose anymore.

I have got about 1-2 months before the ground freezes and I am trying to dig roots and level my entire backyard to plant grass. I had about 30 cubic yards of top soil to move by hand. Should be great for the kids to play on next year. My other hobby besides PSP translations is homebrewing cider. I also want to plant a row of apple trees to make cider with. I have been increasing the amount of cider I have been making and I would like to experiment with real apples since the selection of apple juice in the stores is so limited.

Anyways that is more for a different forum.

So short story I will be watching boards but not getting much work done for the next month.

Oh wow, you live in Minnesota? I have relatives there! I'm off in Illinois, currently dealing with the fact that summer just /immediately/ died. I do agree though-- Daylight Savings Time needs to go by now. There was a point to it years and years ago, but right now all it does is mess people up. At least it managed to be pushed to start after Halloween instead of before, now, but I'd definitely prefer it just being stopped, at this point. I didn't know it actually kills people when it happens, but it does make sense now that I think about it. A lot of tired messed up schedules and it getting dark far too quickly.

The cider thing though? That is definitely cool. I can understand wanting to go fresh with that. Cider tastes best when fresh. But ahaha yeah a different forum, but I wanted to at least say something in response.

That's entirely understandable though that you won't be doing too much until you get your stuff done and sorted out. Good luck with it, okay? I know gardening can be pretty intense on a person, so don't over-do it. (not looking forward to when people have to start shoveling snow, too)

By people dying because of it, car accident go up like 200% the day after the time changes. Google it and you can see many studies that show you have a much higher risk of dying in car accidents and heart attacks. It crazy to think about how much it messes everything up.

So I had a little time tonight to try my hand at some assembly and I was able to get the missing words all inserted into the eboot. The short story is that they were all hard coded with assembly. I was able to change the assembly to translate the text I was looking for. I will at some point release a patch with the updates.

I want to thank neoxephon for his help.

Ok i've tested the latest patch v0.9.1
It doesn't seem to work for me. I patch as usual all goes fine, i tested the game on ppsspp the main menu is English but when i start the game after the intro video (which i know it's not translated) the game is still Japanese, and i know this was in English on previous patches, i've redone everything and still japanese. I'm lost i've done this a thousand times i'm sure i'm doing it right.

ChepChep can you try your latest patch on ppspp and confirm it work as intended?

Make sure you delete the install data that's on PPSSPP.

I had the same problem before, and removing the install data helped fix it.

Yeah, it's weird. PKP has an Install Data option, but I never chose it to install, myself. I guess since it's emulating, something goofs up there.

Hi, I don't know if it was my problem for using an out-dated version of the traslation or if the game glitched, but after completing stage 6-5 done with Drake(the name of the stage is " The Marvelous King ") the stage after would not unlock(from a faq it is named " The Muscle King "),I tried both completing it more times (at five I stopped) then I update the game at 9.0.0 and restarted the chapter, but the problem persisted.

I had to load an old file and choose another overlord, I have done this account wishing this information could helps (lucky me that I had an old savefile, I feel sorry for all the people who didn't had one Q_Q)

I'll try to track the bug down. I had that happen to me a couple of time in the game due to a glitchy characters from the PS2 script that would crash the PSP game. I will make sure that area of the game is not still effected by it.

Linka,

I hope you have a great holidays as well. Been busy on another project and spending most of my time learning to assembly program for the PSP. Its very slow going since there is so little documentation.

Not sure how much more is actually going to get done on this patch since I am stuck with issues with images. There is really no way I can tackle it without a better knowledge of images formats and assembly hacking.
