Sega announced in Famitsu the other day that a new Phantasy Star was headed to the DS. There were some scans, but now there are a considerable amount of new official screens:

... i like that camera position.

most of those 3D fantasy games on the DS still use a camera almost straight above the characters, but this one actually allows you to use the 3rd dimension to look over long distances.

    O my god.

This is just plain awesome. I hope the gameplay is as good as the graphics [IMG] True to PSO would be good enough for me, I loved it.

This had better come out in English.

I seem to remember there being something about Wifi (did I read it wrong?). Using Pictochat-like stuff would be pretty neat for communication. [IMG]

    Do want.

It's a PSO derivative, so Wifi play is almost certain.

I've wanted this on the DS for so long... I [IMG] you Sega. Really.

Had to pull it up to be sure. =P

I don't play online with my consoles, but this sounds pretty cool nonetheless. [IMG] Wow. Looks to be pretty neat.

I was stoked when I first saw the announcement, now I'm even more stoked... I would be completely happy if everything gameplay-wise was the same as PSO. In fact, I hope it is. Or at least very close. Now if this game isn't translated in English... I don't know what I'm gonna do.

Just added two more pictures I found. The last two small ones are newer than the others.
