As was rumoured two weeks ago, the new ports of the Persona series will be making their way to Switch as well. Persona 5 Royal will launch on October 21, 2022, and will be followed by Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden.
These ports have also previously been confirmed to be coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Game Pass, Steam, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Finally the curse is broken, the newest SMT and Persona on the same console. I'm not worried about performance since P5 isn't a demanding game, I expect [email protected] fps.
This is nice Atlus, but we still seem to be missing some persona games and smt on the current gen.
You have given us the cookie, and now we want the cake, so gimme gimme gimme.
Nah, King Goomba never rests. He's already moved on to Soul Hackers 2 lmao.
I'll probably pick up a physical copy of P5R just for the hell of it despite having a physical copy of it for my PS4 (and also planning to get it on Steam).
My game is installed on internal SSD, if yours too, maybe I'm just lucky. My system is pretty recent and dust free I think, previous owner took good care of it. Sorry you had a bad experience with it. P5R is coming to PC though, it should be the ultimate version.

Its fine. I should probably dust it. But it was like version 1 of it I played so might gotten patches? It was just that part that stuttered for me. Or just play it on my PS5 ;D
Honestly surprised they didn’t fumble this somehow. Persona 5 Royal actually showed up and they didn’t try to pull any cloud version shenanigans like they did with Kingdom Hearts.
@KenniesNewName That's the problem with gadgets, there's a new one being leaked, announced, released every week, and if you wait for something better to come along you can wait forever, there's always something new on the horizon.
Same thing with price too. Miyoo Mini is $50 and it's fine, but RP2 is only $100 and has way more options, but now there's the RP3 and it's just $30 more, but the Ayn Odin Lite is $190 and it's very powerful, but the Ayn Odin Pro is $250 and it's an absolute beast, but now we're already in the Windows handheld range and I really would like a Windows handheld... Ayn Loki starts at $200, but why not add a few bucks for better specs... but now we're close to the Steam Deck and that is a much better choice...
My attitude in those cases is to decide what I want in that particular moment, not waiting for emminent releases. And decide based on function, that is, if I will use it almost daily and if it satisfies my desire/need
