Persona 5 Royal gets its western release date in a new trailer

It’s time to steal hearts, all over again, in Persona 5 Royal, which was just given its western release date. The game, which has already released in Japan, will add extra gameplay and story content, along with new characters. Atlus will be releasing the game both physically and digitally, as well as a collector’s edition. Persona 5 Royal will release for the PlayStation 4 next year, on March 31st.

So I guess this isn't something they're gonna sell as DLC, eh? Since I joined the PS4 party late I was able to get the Persona 5 steelbook for around $30. Seems kinda pointless to get another collector's edition, or to double up on physical copies at all for that matter.

PC release when?
I would ask the same thing, but something must be going on that prevents a PC release (an exclusivity deal with Sony or similar most likely), even if that release is delayed. I dislike it when 3rd-party games that aren't tied by a deal don't ever see a PC release, so that I don't have to spend additional money on the consoles. If only PS4 emulators like Orbital were stable and ready-to-use right now... :(

Really, if you played the OG Persona 5 on RPCS3 right now, all you're missing out on is one new main character that really doesn't add much and
A new final boss to end off the extra month of the game along with a revised ending.

Like, literally, one could YT the extra stuff and it wouldn't be that different. Unless if you REALLY must experience two sets of the same boss battles on two different versions of what may as well be the same game, I honestly would stick with the original release atm just based on the price alone!

Never played a Persona game. Would try this one if it came out on Switch but while it's not I don't care.
Then it's just better to wait for SMT to be honest. They're kind of the same in the game play. Persona is probably more "relaxed" than SMT.

Hopefully Atlus won't be assholes about streamers/youtubers making P5 Royale videos. I'd probably just watch the new scenes.
