pen,its a much more portable weapon, and no one will suspect you for w/e you did, and it gets the job done. Also, the pens with lasers/lights are also very effective when trying to get away xD *points in someones eyes*

Well, you could swear at someone, but they could punch you back. Giving you a black eye. I've never seen writing beat violence.

    So, I'm going to vote....Violence.

EDIT: I'm taking it back, after I saw this*

Much as I appreciate that the pen SHOULD be the way forward, there are times when violence truly is the answer.

It depends who's wielding it. A pen (or crayon, possibly) in the hand of a politician can do more damage than a sword in the hand of a psychopath.

For his time period, the sword worked better.

Now? There's NO way he could get that onto a plane.

And a pen can go into someone's eye just as quickly. [IMG]

Pen for the majority of cases. Politicians have all the power and determine whether to start a war or not.

violence is simply the manifestation of the disablitity to make use of mannered way's to handel things:. sure it is easier to make use of violence but a lot of courage and will is needed to refuse it:. the pen is the perfect tool for pacifists.
for the violence fanatics' - it is obvious that you won't win a battle if you stand face to face to your foe, but in a war the party which comes up with the better strategies will have the advantage; so double win for the pen [IMG]

Hehe, a pen isn't going to stop crimes in Iraq or Afghanistan. Sword for me.

I'd say pen, all you have to do is take a look at whats idiots have written with it, such as the Bible and the Qur'an... and just take a look at what those shit have caused and what they are going to cause in the future.
