aw yeah, as a game dumper, you get to see all kinds of cut content/things you missed from textures like how there is a swear word on a car texture in The adventures of cookie & cream (the car is an enemy btw).

Sometimes textures like the one you posted are upscale-able, the weird corrupted stuff below isn't used by the game, I think something tries to fill in the gaps so it's not empty. Anyways just make sure you check your dump after every session so you don't accidentally overload your SSD/HDD cause infinite dumps are no joke, you can rack up 1TB of junk data in just an hour.
Also I heard if you disable "enable mipmapping" in the rendering settings, texture packs should start working again.
That's so interesting, there's a swear word on the car that you never see in game, but it's a kids game, so wouldn't the rating need to be changed? Even if you never see it? I know it's just in the games code, but there was that one golf game that had the first episode of South park in it's as a test that they forgot to remove, and the ESRB had to change the games rating because... Well, it's south park.
Thanks for the heads up about the storage space thing, I'm not running low but I definitely don't want to build up a bunch of random data and overload my PC lol. (Though, it would be worth it for Ape Escape 3)
I'll get a picture later today (I say today but it's 2am as I write this) of my files, but I noticed a lot of the texture dumps are wierd. They're mostly garbled and glitched with random blocks of stuff in them or pixelation. There are like 20 copies of the same image and only 1 or 2 of them look okay. But even then, they seem oddly see through? Semi transparent? Even in the texture I sent it doesn't look as bright as in game, I suppose.
I'll be back with updates later... Eventually. I'll use that duplicate cleaner thing you linked in the original post to try and clean my files, but sometimes as I mentioned there will only be 1 or 2 copies that look clean, the rest bad dump. If I end up having to look through all files individually, I'm resigned to my fate.
Anyway I'm still smack dab in the middle of my persona phase, but between finishing p4g, all 3 dancing games, reading the manga,
Sorry, seems I rambled.
Anyway, good luck to all those trying to dump textures. Maybe if it's troublesome enough I'll drop a guide with some tips.
