Really? You're gonna try semantics? You know exactly what I meant by the first post when I said willing to help.
And if you dont know let me clarify: I meant someone that can actually help and is willing for some quick $.
Dont get me wrong I am greatful and all but you didn't really help me in anyway that helped further this solution then the things I already knew.

I dont mind paying the $ for actual help since it would be ALOT cheaper to pay someone 10$ for help than buy a new HDD for 200$ or more

Haha, yeah i was joking.

But yeah, if youve tested other USBloaders and other cIOS, then the partition is most likely the problem.

Also a 500gb drive is like $50, a TB is like $90. You wouldnt need anymore than that, a TB is pushing it

You bastard... Haha nah I actually thought of buying a 2TB hdd and split it in 2 partitions, first for Wii U / Wii and second partition for PS3. Or am I just being stupid again?

Youre being stupid again haha, I would recommend spending that money on 2 1TB drives, 1 external for vWii, and one for ps3 (mines an internal TB, but i gather youre gonna do an external)

It would be easier and cause far less problems

Also, a heads up for ps3. Alot of games do not work on external drives if we're talking about a softmodded ps3. So a 1TB drive would work far better, as you cant fit a 2TB drive into a ps3 slim.

or just buy 1 new drive, move all the old stuff to the new one, format the old one properly, move it all back then format the new one, or format the new one as fat32 and move all the wii games to that, then use the old drive for the wiiU/PS3 or whatever

Hey guys! I recently softmodded my wii U on firmware 5.3.2E, everything went smoothly and
I have installed the neccessary cIOS etc.
The problem is when I try to access a game through WiiFlow or USB loaderGX I see all the games etc. but when I try and load one of the games my external harddrive shuts down.
Now let me also say that it's a 2TB seagate harddrive and it has 3 partitions. First is HFS+ for some important mac files I have, second is normal NTFS and the third partition is the one I created and formatted as WBFS.

As mentioned I can find the games and they load in wiiFlow but when I try and load the game the harddrive powers off like it was getting dismounted or something..

Paying 10$ to anyone willing to help out this newb!
Is your hard drive powered only with wii u's usb port?
