String to search for is just "Ver. %d.%d.%d-%d%ls" in Unicode

i did and it's a 10.5 home menu cia
i have 10.7 :c

if that was my cia, i was drunk making that. it worked on my 2ds, but theres another thread with 10.6.x homemenu and ns that has everything you should need. just search "home menu" there and you should find it.

i use patched 10.5u on 10.7u still because menuhax. but im drunk now so idk why

Like nic0lette said, except in a hex editor you have to write it as 24 E0.

Thanks for the work on the patches.

I installed the patches, rebooted and tried "Photos With Animal Crossing" and it did not behave any different. It just locked at the initial Nintendo 3DS launch screen.
Free Multi-Patcher does not run PWAC either.

It does work in RXTools.

Hi, So when i installed the menu patch i thought you were suppose to install the language you would want your homemenu to be (I have 9.2.0-20U) so i installed the Jp version to NAND and it didn't do anything. After i installed the US one to NAND and rebooted my system and i thought everything was fine. After doing those two, i can't access anything, it tells me "Please update this software to launch it" and that goes for everything like bigbluemenu, fbi, and even System settings but i can still access web browser if that helps. Please help thanks
