Patchin GC iso with GECKO Code possible?

Hey guys,

I want to patch the iso file of Mario Power Tennis for GC with a gecko code and inject it onto the Wii U main screen.

I found the code from this thread https://gbatemp.net/threads/finally-mario-power-tennis-co-op-play.560098/
It worked on dolphin but I want to play it on the Wii U.

I once managed to patch a wii iso (dkcr with cc) but for GC I doesn't work for me. Can anyone help me out?

Did the dkcr thing too a lot of time ago, so cant remember exactly how to do it, but unlike the wii injects, with gc you can use cheats without injecting them directly in the iso.
Put your cheat codes in the sd/codes directory, then you have to activate the cheats in the nintendont menu, and to do so you have to open nintendont normally in vwii mode, change the settings and enable cheats, and then start a gc game from there (remember this last part, otherwise nintendont wont save the settings and the cheats will be still disabled)
Then start your game normally from the wii u menu with your gc inject, and cheats should work

You were right!! It works as a cheat code as well, no need to change the iso.
