Hi guys, this is great. I have everything working on my 9.2.0.20u O3ds.
I have a couple games on my sky3ds I would like on the CFW home screen. What is the best tool to convert 3ds to cia so I can install with FBI?
Thanks for any help.

3DS Simple CIA Converter v3.1 but you need to build Xorpads using decrpt9

I'm on a 2DS. Wouldn't I be able to install a .CIA installer to sysnand using GateWay and then use that with Pasta after it's ported to Spider?

This is because exefs contains gba rom. If only someone knew a way to rebuild 3ds rom in such a way that gba rom will not been lost.
So I am correct in thinking there are no tools to create a CIA from a GBA game except FunkyCIA2, which doesn't support making it Region Free or changing the Region so Pasta can display it.

It seems the best solution would be if Pasta could display the GBA out-of-region titles in the 3DS Menu, since it can play them already.

AGB_FIRM has sig checks. You can inject your own GBA rom, but it probably won't ever run. I don't know about a modified GBA VC CIA with region free icon though. I think AGB_FIRM only checks the code.bin file. But not sure how exactly that works. CitrAGB will probably run near full speed anyway once a CIA build of it is available.

are you sure? where did you hear about this?
anyway, make the region free icon.bin - not a problem.

I can load these GBA CIA games on my USA N3DS 9.0.0-20U running Pasta 1.2.1, but I have to use DevMenu/FBI/BBM to launch them.

e045 - F-Zero for Game Boy Advance (GBA)(Virtual Console)(eShop) (JP)
e046 - Fire Emblem - Seima no Kouseki (GBA)(Virtual Console)(eShop) (JP)
e047 - Hoshi no Kirby - Kagami no Daimeikyuu (GBA)(Virtual Console)(eShop) (JP)
e048 - Made in Wario (GBA)(Virtual Console)(eShop) (JP)
e049 - Mario Kart Advance (GBA)(Virtual Console)(eShop) (JP)
e050 - Mario vs. Donkey Kong (GBA)(Virtual Console)(eShop) (JP)

They do not make a Package File for me to open. (They are all Japan Region.)

I have the same exact set in USA Region, and they do make a Package and run from the 3DS Menu.

But... even if the ICON.BIN is Region Free, none of the computer based CIA Creators I can find can make a working GBA CIA.

I would venture to guess that all of the GBA CIA files were created using FunkyCIA and therefore are Region Locked. (I could be wrong here)
