Hacking Passcard 3 not working

My passcard 3 is not working too well with my SC SD.
When inserted sometimes, the pass card goes undetected with my DS lite and it just boots up in GBA mode.
But if i reinsert the passcard a couple of times, and turn on the DSL , It works properly and i will see the DS boot screen.

Anyways, whats wrong, and how to i fix it? Will i need a new passcard?

I had that problem.... i took apart the card then cleaned the contacts with rubbing alcohol... it seemed to due the job

THe problem still exist. Sometimes I see the NDS menu boot up halfway and freezes.

I tried cleaning the passcard but it still sometimes doesnt work. I can fix it by reinserting it but this becomes a hassle.
