Partitioning Wii U USB so it can be used with both USB Loader (Wii) and Wii U games?

    Is this something you can do? If so, can you do it without bringing up that annoying format message, or actually formatting the contents of the whole hard drive?

    It's not possible. The Nintendo Wii U will always whipe the entire disk, regardless of the partitions or the format.

    Ustealth hides the entire disk, by some sort of MBR trick. So it won't work.

    This is why Nintendo's proprietary format is bullcrap. I'm not buying another damn hard drive just to use for Wii U games. But now that IOSU actually exists, I hope someone patches the firmware/makes a loader with FAT32/NTFS support.

    It's not necessarily hacking them as much as using the drive for anything else aside Wii U games. Even without hacks it's a pain in the ass.
