In this thread, we can see a fix by aarongeorge :
I can confirm that running sudo chflags -R arch on all directories aside from the official Nintendo directory has solved the issue.

I assume you all are on Mac OS or another Apple OS.
Idk if you're on Windows.

unfortunately windows. why does changing the chflags fix this tho? would the attrib +a on windows be the equivalent?

Staring at the corrupted binary, I think I know the issue anyway.

OpenFile is failing when trying to create the prodinfo backup (this should never fail, so we assert it succeeds).

I think your SD card has weird archive bits that prevent creation of files in the automatic backups folder.

Are you using macOS? Try using hekate's archive bit fixer, maybe. Also try using FAT32 instead of exFAT.

You can try, I think it will work the same way, the problem and the solution are the same anyway on both, the command is just different.

EDIT : Also double check if your sd card isn't corrupted or other shit like that / Try Hetake's archive bit fixer / Use FAT32.

If nothing work, open a issue on the github.

I've tried fat32, exfat, copying all the files all over again. nothing works .. I keep getting this same panic crash from atmosphere
ill try setting the attribute tags in windows. however i'm skeptical on this... annnnd it didn't work
cmd (run as administrator) attrib /D +A *.* (then manually setting the Nintendo folder as non archived)
achieves a similar result of the sudo chflags -R arch command (to recursively set the archive bit)

????? totally flabbergasted. the 752 thread was unfortunately prematurely closed before other platforms could verify if they found a workaround.

Figured I would post here. I'm getting the same panic screen but for another reason. I just updated from HOS 7 to 9 and updated atmosphere and hekate. The switch boots fine but if I use Goldleaf and (repeatedly) open and close empty folders, I get said panic screen (title Id: 0100000000000034 / error desc: data abort) and the switch reboots. Fixing the archive bit as described in that GitHub issue doesn't help.

Goldleaf is just unstable. Not much you can do about that.
